Do you have Plans?

Working on creating and planning these exciting and educational workshops, I realized that I needed to create my ebook BEFORE I launch them – PLAN A  was to finish creating the ebook AFTER the workshop, that way I could assess the event and add information as needed. But, plans change and as a small business owner you always to need to have a PLAN B …. Or at least be flexible and resourceful enough to brain-storm a plan on the fly!

Finding The Right Place

writing-place-3

A Writing Hut … A Favorite chair … An Outside Spot …

I found that finding my own spaces to write helps keep me focused on writing every day. It does not matter what your space looks like to other people as long as it is a place you find clarity, creativity, your sacred space all cocoon inside a cozy retreat – that retreat space could be an extra bedroom – extra space within a room – or a corner of the living room.

I am currently collecting inspiration objects: quotes, sayings, pictures to use for the visualization process to help me on my journey of book writing. I have been reading books about writing books – collecting great tips and inspirational quotes and saying from people that have started on the same path I am currently traveling!

So far this week, I have only missed one day of writing – I found that it helped when I sat my ass down to write, the story was more vivid, more imagery, more details – sometimes taking a step back is a giant leap forward.

Next week, I will post the tips and techniques of book writing that I have collected so far – please stay tuned to my blog for an upcoming Workshop: CREATING A COZY WRITING RETREAT Finding ways to keep your creativity growing through your environment … Until next time!

Peace & Harmony … Keep Writing, Cheryl

Letting Go …

20161111_090516-1

Letting go forces us to look at our three strongest emotional drivers: Anger ~ Fear ~ Love.

Letting go means confronting these invisible emotional barriers; bringing them upfront and center – and we struggle against them. It means challenging, irrational and unproductive thinking until you get your head and heart straight.

Letting go of past hurts and injustices that preoccupies our lives – so that we don’t lose that love – again.

With each Goodbye I learn ….

That ANGER is the easiest to understand, but the most difficult to escape, it becomes an internal attachment that can only be broken by communication – a kind word.

That letting go leaves a hole in your life in the shape of the person that left you behind. We usually fill that void with FEAR – fear of the uncertain – fear of failure – fear of future loss. Instead, fill that void with HOPE – hope for the future – hope for new adventures – hope for the ones we love. Fear keeps us grounded, but Hope lifts us above our obstacles, situations and challenges.

Once you let go of Anger and Fear – what’s waiting on the other side is LOVE.

That love for the family you have weaved together through your life. Just so it is noted; you did not work that needle by yourself, God helps you pull the ribbons from the people around you – if you listen carefully. To create this beautiful and colorful blanket of warmth and love that you will pull over you when struggles come. The blanket is always redesigning itself, because with each goodbye you learn to … Let Go!

Peace & Harmony, Cheryl
