Today, go out there in your world and do ONE kind thing for someone, do something for someone that cannot repay you – but you can watch that ONE thing have a forward motion to a place you never could imagine for yourself. I know this works, I did it myself a few years ago. During this past summer I got to hear and see what my ONE thing of kindness did for someone . . . That was the biggest payday I had ever received in my life No Cash or Check involved!

Living Areas: Determine what your focal point will be – if you don’t have a fireplace, consider a high piece (art canvas picture, decorative tray, or a grouping) to focus your attention and draw you into the room.
Dining Place: Recall your favorite restaurant. Besides the good food, what was it about the ambience that spoke to you that you can recreate in your dining place at home?
Kitchens: Hang a collection of various baskets (use nails without heads – 1.5” brads). Use the baskets for bread, fruit, napkins, and utensils. Be creative and artful when arranging them on the wall.
Homework / Study Area: When we study, we love to lean back in our chair and put our feet up on a footstool (choose one with storage). A stool can also be a convenient place to rest a snack tray.
Bedroom: Always have fresh-cut flowers or flowering plants to create an indoor garden for your private sanctuary. Grab a few bouquets of store-bought fresh flowers, separate them and create a bunch of small bouquets to place throughout the bedrooms – all year-long.

fast_five_logo A Clean & Tidy space is only a few mini projects away. Here are 5 fast tips for helping you keep your space sparkling and organized.

Dishwasher is not just for dishes: Go around the house and collect the toys, soap dishes, car cup holders, sponges, pet dishes, dish racks. Put them all in the dishwasher and send them through a clean cycle.
Wear The Glove Around The House: I have an extra pair of rubber gloves (label them) that I wear around house to wipe down furniture, pillows, blankets, lamp shades, stuffed animals, baseboards, door trims, small area rugs, and table clothes to get crumbs off.
Gather up your wagon partner: Grab a wagon and wheel around to every room to pick up the belongings that need to be placed back to their home.
Hang Coats: Hang all the coats laying around the house, and straighten up the shoes and boots by your entry door.
Make The Bed: It will be your first task of the day, it will give you a small sense of pride, and it will encourage you to do another task and then another task. It’s a reminder that the little things do matter.
