How Can A Professional Organizer Help Teachers?

Organizer & Teacher

A professional organizer can be of great assistance to teachers in several ways.

Here are some ways in which a professional organizer can help teachers:

  1. Classroom Organization: A professional organizer can help teachers create an organized and efficient classroom layout. They can provide guidance on arranging furniture, storage solutions, and creating designated areas for different activities. This ensures that the classroom is optimized for teaching and learning, allowing for smooth transitions and easy access to materials.
  2. Material Management: Teachers often have a wide range of teaching materials, such as textbooks, workbooks, art supplies, and manipulatives. A professional organizer can help teachers sort through these materials, categorize them, and create efficient systems for storage and retrieval. This makes it easier for teachers to locate and access the necessary resources when planning and delivering lessons.
  3. Paperwork & Filing Systems: Teachers deal with a significant amount of paperwork, including lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and administrative documents. A professional organizer can assist in setting up effective filing systems, both physical and digital, to help teachers stay organized and easily locate important documents. This reduces the time and stress associated with managing paperwork.
  4. Time Management & Planning: Teachers have numerous responsibilities, including planning lessons, grading assignments, attending meetings, and collaborating with colleagues. A professional organizer can help teachers develop effective time management strategies and planning systems. This can include creating schedules, prioritizing tasks, and implementing productivity tools. By optimizing their time, teachers can focus more on teaching and spend less time on administrative tasks.
  5. Decluttering & Downsizing: Over time, classrooms can accumulate unnecessary clutter, making it challenging to maintain an organized environment. A professional organizer can help teachers declutter their classrooms, identifying unnecessary or valuable items. They can assist in deciding what to keep, donate, or discard, creating a more streamlined and functional space.
  6. Stress Reduction & Work-Life Balance: By helping teachers establish efficient organizational systems, professional organizers can reduce the stress and overwhelm associated with managing classroom resources and paperwork. This, in turn, can contribute to better work-life balance, allowing teachers to focus on their students and personal well-being.

Overall, a professional organizer can bring expertise in organization and efficiency to teachers, helping them create a well-organized and functional classroom environment. By reducing clutter, implementing effective systems, and improving time management, teachers can enhance their productivity and create a more conducive learning environment for their students. Maybe, for the first time since being a teacher, you actually enjoy summers!

5 Accountability Actions To Consider For Getting Closer To Your Goals & Not Give Up On The Entrepreneurial Journey

I want to inspire people.

Accountability (noun): the quality or state of being accountable; especially: an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one’s own actions

ACCOUNTABILITY Action #1

HAVE A COACH (SHARE THE STRESS)

It’s so true.  A coach provides that accountability, that strategy, those pep-talks, the support that you need to press on and to keep you moving forward and pressing on when you are feeling tired or discouraged.

ACCOUNTABILITY Action #2

HAVE A COMMUNITY (STOP THINKING YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN) I have to own up – this secret is me! It’s something I consciously work on daily being an introvert~

When you know you’re not alone you can always keep going. Not only does having a community raise you up to a new level of responsibility that will help you with consistency and follow-through, but it also provides a network for you to fall back on in moments when your spirits are down or you are tired of staying on that journey of entrepreneurship!

ACCOUNTABILITY Action #3

HAVE PERSPECTIVE (Pop More Corks!)

One of the most overlooked steps of successful accountability coaching is celebration . . . the secret is simple: celebrate more – pop more corks with your tribe – send handwritten cards or letters – celebrate with a small gift (I have most of the rocks my former pre-k students have given me as thank you gifts while spending time outdoors, the sentiment was always the same “Miss Cheryl, this is for you because I Love You”) small teacher celebration moments.

ACCOUNTABILITY Action #4

HAVE YOUR ‘WHY’ NAILED DOWN (YOUR GOALS MATTER MORE THAN YOU KNOW!) This year 2019 I chose a WORD OF THE YEAR – from there I created clarity in knowing the “why” of my goal.

It goes without saying that your goals matter more than you know.People who are able to follow through on what they say they are going to do to, who are able to finish what they start, who are people who have a  very clear vision into “why” what they are doing matters to them.

Clarity can push you forward to take more action, to help you “show up” and follow through more consistently and to dig-deep to find the courage to step outside of your comfort zone in order to reach your dreams.

ACCOUNTABILITY Action #5

HAVE CONSISTENCY TO WHAT YOU DO (You work it girl . . . everyday!)

We make our goals harder than they need to be. The truth is reaching a goal is less about doing big, drastic changes and more about doing small, daily tasks, taking ‘baby steps’ along the way. You don’t need to know all of the steps you need to take, you just need to take one step a day, every day, going towards what matters to you. Decide two things and you will have results: 1. Decide to be consistent, and 2. Decide to always show up. When you’re committed to consistency it doesn’t matter what people think about how and what you’re doing – it just matters that you show up and keep pressing forward.

It can be different for you this year. It has to be different for you, because this is your year if you decide it to be. But you need to prepare for the stumbling-stones that are going to be on your journey.  You need to anticipate the challenges, and you can do that by making sure you have the right coach and a community of your tribe on your side.

I have a solution that might help you:

Get a coach (Cheryl – CCHome Concierge Company-CCHC).

Get a community (CCHC Tribe).

Get consistent (CCHC Offers / Services).
